Abstract :
This paper presents a varactor-tuned tunable bandpass filter (TBPF) with two movable transmission zeros. The TBPF consists of a pair of frequency-tunable shunt resonant circuits at upper and lower side of the passband frequency. Varactors loaded at the gap of hairpin resonator. The equation for the transmission zeros are derived from the analysis of a transmission line. The TBPF is designed and tested at 2GHz. The theoretical analysis and design procedures have been successfully verified by experiments.
