Abstract :
This paper presents a concept of joint thermo-electromagnetic analysis method, in which the thermo analysis is embedded in the process of analyzing the corresponding electromagnetic problem of the same system. The equation in the new formulation for steady-state heat conduction problems, based on the concept of equivalence heat source, is similar to the governing equation for electromagnetic analysis. Their numerical analyses can be implemented in a joint way.
