Abstract :
This paper presents concepts for balanced-fed aperture antennas realised on different LTCC substrates. The aim is to obtain efficient radiating elements for 60 GHz monolithic transceivers for WPAN systems. The simulation results of the antenna itself fabricated on DuPont 943 Low-loss Tape are compared to the measurements, and also to the simulated results of the same structure realised on DuPont 9k7 substrate.
