Abstract :
A reliability calculation method which can consider distributed generations´ output characteristic was proposed. Using this method, reliability and assets utilization were analyzed for distribution systems and DGs´ impact and contribution was calculated quantitatively. Furthermore, some planning principles and design scenarios were proposed for distribution network with DGs. By the study case on which the principles were applied, it is proved that DGs have an overall benefit for increasing system reliability while saving network construction costs.
