Abstract :
Along with the advancing of intelligent grid construction, the information access inside substations has become increasingly flexible, and traditional in-substation wire communication could not meet such demand any longer. Through comparative analysis on the transmission bandwidth, QOS, reliability and safety of various wireless communication techniques in common use at present, and with IEEE802.11 (Wi-Fi) as in-substation wireless communication method and Mesh as networking technology, this paper has designed a set of whole-substation-through wireless communication systems. Such systems could realize overall coverage of communication in substations, make it convenient for the seamless access and interconnection of different communication equipments, and materialize the plug and play of communication equipments. In addition, in the electromagnetic environment of some 220kV substation in Nanjing, and based on the experiment and computational analysis on the anti-electromagnetic interference ability of secondary equipment in the substation, this paper has determined the feasibility of substation wireless communication systems.
