Abstract :
The real capacity of valve-regulated lead acid battery (VRLA) determines reliability of direct current (DC) power system directly. The 50% rated capacity discharge testing in this paper is based on full capacity discharge method and its final voltage is obtained according to build and analyse mathematical model. Compare to full capacity discharge, this method can settle long time discharge and low safety for single-group batteries in transformer substation effectively.
