Research about alarm system for grounding cable disconnection in high-voltage cable grounding system

The theft of Grounding and coaxial cables, leads to the breakdown of cable protection layer´s weak insulation and cable burning that may develop into a big accident indirectly without timely discovery and grounding system repair. The paper introduces a new alarm system for grounding cable disconnection. Its function, structure and characteristics are discussed and the paper emphatically expounds the key technology and the project optimization about disconnection signal acquisition module, suspension CT power supply module, power management module, signal monitoring management module, GSM module, remote monitoring software module etc., and also discusses the feasibility of the application of on-line monitoring.
