Abstract :
By analyzing features of the power black-start system of northern Jiangsu district, the line current differential protection was set as the main protection for black-start path. Based on analysis of failure of black-start system, the fault current and voltage were verified to meet the distance and zero-sequence protection requirements. Furthermore, problems and solutions of back-up distance protection in the black-start system were particularly analyzed.
