  • Abstract
    As the most important equipment in substation, it is necessary to make power transformer intelligence firstly in smart grids construction. According to the basic specifications of intelligent machine, i.e., visualization condition, networking control and automation, this paper presents the overall framework of a developed intelligent system for an 110kV power transformer. The structural function definition, parameter selection and diagnostic thought are introduced. Based on the frame of IEC 61850 networks, this system adopt Browser/Server structure, and a remote monitoring and control function is included. Off-line measurement and on-line monitoring is integrated using the idea of coding and decision attributions, so the accuracy and reliability of the intelligent system have been improved.
