Abstract :
The variation of the amplitude of neutral voltage can tell no more information than the existence of a grounded fault in power distribution grids. To solve this problem, a method that is capable of diagnosing the type and phase of fault are proposed in this paper on the basis of the three criteria after theoretical analysis on different fault models. Relative simulation works on MATLAB provided the verification for this method.
