Abstract :
The selection strategy on the main parts of transformer and its performance parameters are directly related to the transformer´s reliable operation,security and economic. After investigations and analysis, some suggestions are made: the capacity and quantity of bushing current transformers should be selected reasonably; the present transformer´s fire-protection devices should be removed, and most of the main transformer´s tap-changer in power plant should be cancelled; in the premise of not increasing the costs of manufacturing, as the operation load rate of transformer, adjust the ratio between the no-load loss and load loss in order to get the transformer´s operation economically and reasonably.
