Abstract :
The utilization of reactive power compensation devices is low caused by nonlinear harmonics load in urban low-voltage power grid. In order to improve the low voltage distribution system power quality and energy conservation reserves, practical device is tested for the harmonic and reactive power requirements of low voltage customers. This device is developed to filter out the third neutral harmonic current and fifth, seventh harmonic current and reduce the cost of harmonic filters.
