Abstract :
Traditional Demand Side Management method failed to adjust to social development since the smart gird conception has been widely popularized. It´s a right choice to realize the intelligent of demand side on the basis of Smart Grid strategy, which has agreat significance for the development of Smart Gird in the user side. This paper introduces the conception and difference between traditional Demand Side Management and intelligent Demand Side Management, and presents the status and experience of intelligent demand side management at home and abroad. On the premise of Smart Grid development planning and Low-carbon economy, the intelligent Demand Side Management should aim to realize the effective interaction between gird and the user, to improve user service quality and supporting distributed green energy access, and thus optimizing the use of energy initiatively and improving the efficiency of using energy so as to conserve electricity resources and protect the ecological environment. Based on this, an intelligent Demand Side Management system is designed to respond to various factors, which can provide the consumers a free choice to use electricity and achieve intelligence autonomization. The intelligent Demand Side Management system can help the user not only respond to the spot price, but also comprehensively reflect the energy efficiency, distributed green energy access, reduction of carbon emission and the historical electricity consumption. The user can assort a weight to each factor which affects the electricity consumption, according to the weight given and the consumption of each module, the decision module will give out a final family electricity plan ,including the actual working situation of the appliances itself. On the basis of this, the user can accept or revise the plan. It can be concluded that the intelligent Demand Side Management is of great significance to intelligent power utilization in the user side with the continuous development of related- technology and device of Small Grid.
