Abstract :
Excitation control is one of the effective means to improve the stability of Power System. Excitation controller, which uses the Nonlinear characteristics and learning ability of Neural network, also the characteristics of adaptive control technology, has strong adaptability and robustness for the nonlinearity and uncertainty of the system. The simulation results to the single machine infinite bus system show that, this controller is more effective in the control, which can also ensure a higher level of voltage control and greater stability margin.
