Abstract :
Self-Healing is one of the features of smart grid and FLISR is the important technology implementing self-healing. Simulation testing is the underpinning of developing self-healing grid. Multiple components, such as fault detection, communication, protective relay and remote control, are involved in feeder automation, so the quality of testing will influence the operation reliability directly. It´s not practical to test and verify the feeder automation by producing short-circuit fault in real distribution network, and this prevents the practicality progress of feeder automation system. From the viewpoint of practicality, the testing requirements for feeder automation system in different stages of R&D and production are discussed in this paper, and the corresponding simulation testing methods, key technologies, testing content and examples in different stages are presented. These testing approaches are all applied in actual situations, and ensure the reliability and practicability of the feeder automation system effectively.
