Database Migration Tool (DMT) - accomplishments & future directions

The Database Migration Tool (DBM Tool) is a Tool developed by using Language C++ & SQLAPI++ 3.5.7 as a middleware. Due to rapid growth of information technology many organizations are forced to transfer their technologies, by changing the database from one format into another. So organizations do need some tools to convert their databases into recent and reliable technology. This article is aimed to accomplish how the migration takes place between recent databases technological and reliable tool. This DBM Tool is used to transform the data from one format to another. The data format either may be the same or different. Since each data stored has different formats and file systems, the Database Migration Tool (DBM) must be capable enough to migrate the data successfully reliable and flexible. Planning the migration of database applications and routines requires the review all of the applicable pre-migration tasks, migration pre-requisites, migration tasks, and post-migration tasks. This DBM Tool is to convert only SQL oriented databases like Oracle, MS-Access and SQL Server etc.
