  • Abstract
    In this paper, the main functions of locating and identifying of the existing VTS (vessel traffic service) systems are systematically introduced, and the deficiencies of VTS systems about the functions of locating and identifying are analyzed. Then the principles, characteristics and advantages of the Mobile Position System based on GPSOne Technique are described. Finally the integrations of the Mobile Position services based on GPSOne Technique and the existing VTS are investigated.
