Abstract :
Organizations are spending an increasing amount of their budgets on the communication infrastructure. At the same time, the solutions are becoming less defined with more technologies available and accessible. Organizations must develop an informational model and comprehensive strategies to control the flows of resources in their hierarchical structure. The hierarchical system can be decomposed into multiple application groups, which can be further decomposed into multiple applications. At the top of the hierarchy, the global controller controls the gross allocation of resources to the groups. In this paper we propose an approaches to the synthesis of coordination strategies for managing the flow of resources in distributed hierarchical systems.
