Abstract :
The conventional short code CDMA system has a user capacity that is constrained to the short code spreading gain. In order to overcome this limitation, in this paper we propose a blind asynchronous single-user code reuse direct sequence CDMA array receiver, which is based on a novel multipath joint space-time channel estimation technique. The proposed near-far resistant architecture is appropriate for the uplink. Unlike existing multipath receivers, such as the Space-Time Decorrelating Detector and the Space-Time MMSE Receiver, the proposed receiver is tolerant to incomplete channel estimation. The theoretical framework is supported by computer simulations.
