Abstract
EM energy penetration into a fat-layer abdomen model of man body by a radiating dipole antenna located very close to the abdomen surface (the distance is less than 1 cm) was studied. Coupled integral equations (CIE) and Moment Method (MoM) were used to numerically compute the EM interaction and the energy-deposition distribution inside the body, especially, the abdomen. Numerical examples at the 840-MHz portable communication frequency band are presented.
