Abstract
This study aimed the development of mathematical model of laser coagulation called HELIOS. Its capability to predict thermal coagulation was evaluated by comparison with calculated and experimental in-vivo results for CO2, Argon and CW Nd;YAG laser. The results show that HELIOS allows good prediction of tissue temperature and necrosis depth.
