Abstract :
Transtelephonic def ibrillation can provide more rapid defibrillation and offers control of countershock delivery by remotely sited trained personnel. Remote ventricular defibrillation controlled by cellular telephone is effective and safe and has the potential to improve the management of patients developing ventricular fibrillation outside hospital.
