Abstract
This paper reports a long term work devoted to the modeling of arterial trees. It deals with different types of knowledge (e.g structural, morphological, geometric features) with examples in coronary networks. The emphasis is put on the interindividual variations which lead to significant difficulties in the modeling process. This work is part of a general framework aimed at the 3D-reconstruction of vessels from two views where the a priori knowledge is used to provide additional constraint facilitating the matching problem.
