  • Abstract
We have developed a comprehensive database used daily in all aspects of scheduling, information storage and retrieval, results reporting, and clinical status functions in a large epilepsy/neurophysiology department. Multiple mechansims assure data integrity for patient care information, administrative questions, or subsequent research queries. The database is accessible for entry or review by all of the department personnel from over 60 character-based terminals, as well as throughout the institution on over 3000 IBM 3270 terminals and PCs.
