Abstract
Medical institutions have a need for an assortment of complex electronic, electromechanical and mechanical equipment. Maintenance of this equipment requires individuals with considerable technical experience in order to provide adequate service support. Not all institutions have service personnel with the skills needed to run a comprehensive maintenance program. Frequently, service contracts are arranged with a vendor. It would not be unusual for the institution to have at least 50 equipment service contract. These contracts are usually prepared by the vendor and will differ in many aspects.
