Abstract :
The voltage-current characteristics resulting from the application of a high voltage, 500 kHz sinusoidal frequency via a electrosurgical electrode in a simulated TUR environment are presented. Arc responses are clearly seen in the tissue. Rectification is observed in the power density spectra. These results indicate that neuromuscular stimulation is possible.
