Abstract
This paper describes the measurements made possible by using microprocessor-control to operate a Solartron 1260 Impedance Analyzer. Calibration experiments were able to demonstrate that an apparent two time-constant impedance measurement is really only a one time-constant system. This is due to artifacts introduced by the parasitic capacitance and the source resistance to the reference plane of the measurement system.
