Abstract
This paper describes three tests that have been designed and adapted in our laboratory to test the mechanical properties of catheter tubes in their usable form, to predict their mechanical behaviour In vivo. They have been validated on a series of 86 central venous catheters and their dlscrimitant power and interecorreIations compared.
