Use of mathematical models of a sinoatrial node in the investigation of abnormal propagation of action potentials

To investigate the propagation of action potentials in a sinoatrial node a software package IIDDI2 was created. This package was used to investigate abnormal propagation of action potentials in a nodal fiber and in a continous two-dimensional sheet of a nodo. Abnormalities were caused by acetylcholine blockade and calcium blocking drugs.
