Abstract
By analyzing the mechanisms of the movement artifacts (MA) in fiber optic based differential channel Laser Doppler Flowmetry (LDF), it is shown that MA are generally correlated between different channels while LDF signals are not. Based on this observation, an adaptive MA cancelling system is proposed. Results have shown that adaptive correlation cancelling offers a promising approach to deal with MA in LDF.
