Abstract
An upper UHF band for hospital radio telemetry use has been evaluated. Signal strength measurements show good agreement with the Rayleigh distribution over non-LOS paths. The channel can accommodate wideband data transmission and provide an adequate output signal-to-noise ratio with a +10 dBm source.
