  • Abstract
    A computer-aided preoperative planning system has been developed for orthopaedic surgery in lower extremity deformity correction using the Ilizarov method. The system is composed of an ultrasonic digitizer as input device, a HI plotter as output device, and a 386 PC, with SuperVGA monitor, a mouse and a menu driven program ontrolling all the input/output and user graphics interfaces.
