  • Abstract
Presented is the reply to the comments on “An Inversion of Planetary Rough Surface Permittivity From Radar Sounder Observations”. We proved that in KA integral and in nadir direction and isotropic rough surface with zero slope, the surface reflection coefficient Ro can be moved out from the KA integral. We further proved that the received echo power and inversion of are also related with the area topography. Therefore, the simulated echoes based on rough surface model can now be applied to inversion of , as the simulated power with a proposed can iteratively approaches the real measurement at the same location.
