Abstract
A simple model of human skeletal muscle relaxation is presented. This model is used to challenge the Michaelis Menten approximation to the calcium pump, the degree of cooperativity between calcium binding and isometric force production, and the observability of cross bridge kinetics in whole muscle force relaxation.
