Abstract
This paper presents a dynanometric technique for the investigation of hand tremor in isometric load tests. Tremor is estimated in relation to maximum voluntary contraction (MVC). Spectral analysis of the signals show two regions one with low (3-12 Hz) and another (12-30 Hz) with high frequency fluctuations. Tremor amplitude rises monotonously with force reaching a maximum at 70% MVC and then declines indicating a full recruitment of motor units at that force level.
