Abstract :
An important aspect of the biophysical modeling of electrocardiographic fields is the effect of various tissue inhomogeneities and anisotropies on the calculated fields. In this paper we quantitatively assess the effects of different tissue conductivities using a thorax geometry based upon MRI scans and intraoperatively recorded heart potentials.
