Abstract :
This paper describes a three-dimensional liver imaging method based on orthogonal sectional images. These images were acquired by using a mechanical scanning transducer on the liver. The images were recorded and transferred to our computer. Contour curves were extracted from each image and reconstructed as a 3-D Arterial liver image. The segmental localization of hepatic metastases was evaluated based on these 3-D image.
