Abstract :
One to one download model cost much time when target machine number is very large in embedded system. This paper introduce client/server download model to solve above problem, it can cost less time than one to one model. Borrow ideas from linux convention upgrade model. Server sends initiative upgrade instruction, client is target machine in this paper receive passively, that is good for server management and saving time. Introduce how to program linux finger daemon, network communication, and upgrade shell script in linux.
