Abstract :
In this paper a model of a two-axis gimbal is revised. Its performance, in front of the external perturbation, is presented for a PD controller, a fuzzy logic controller and a model reference adaptive controller. A robotized gimbal system is implemented in which real and practical experiments are performed. Its dynamic performance, in front of external perturbations, is analyzed, evaluated, and the results are presented.
