Abstract :
It is presented a single-feed dual-frequency triangular Planar Inverted-F Antenna with U-shaped sleeves in this paper. A shorting-wall and a V-shaped slot are introduced to enhance the bandwidths in lower operating and higher operating frequency respectively. For return loss (S11) ≤-10dB, a relative bandwidth of more than 25% (2.1GHz-2.7GHz) at lower operating frequency and of more than 19.3% (4.9GHz-5.95GHz) at higher operating frequency can be achieved, which can satisfy the IEEE 802.11 WLAN standards in the 2.4 GHz (2400-2484 MHz)/5.2 GHz (5150-5350 MHz)/5.8 GHz (5725-5825 MHz) operating bands.
