Abstract :
A novel scheme for designing microwave equalizer based on Substrate Integrated Waveguide (SIW) is investigated with simulation and experiment. Compared with the classical equalizers that developed by the microstrip, the new equalizer have the advantages such as high Q-factor and low radiation losses etc. Additionally, since the SIW have small size than the corresponding conventional rectangular waveguide components, it can easily be integrated with other microwave circuits in the same substrate. Hence it´s a good choice to use SIW for the developing of the novel microwave equalizer.
