Abstract :
The structural property of soft soil has important influence on the settlement of soft ground. It has been recommended in particular that the model of the structural property and the characteristic of plaxis soft and the application in calculating the settlement of soft ground. The plaxis soft can simulate the distortion process of the roadbed under load if modify the rational soil´s model base on the damage mechanics and the structural property of soft soil, select a reasonable load step in line with the boundary conditions and soil initial conditions accord with the soil. The plaxis soft result close to the data collected through the project site, so we consider the result can be applied to the project. We can modify the Soft soil mechanics model basis on considering the structural damage of soft soil, and introduce the modified mechanics model of Soft soil into the plaxis soft as a new method to forecast the distortion of the expressway´s roadbed.
