Abstract :
In this paper, it is based on the theory of aerodynamics and one 1:1 heavy-duty commercial vehicle geometry was built. The numerical simulation of the vehicle was completed by modifying the geometric model, simplifying the mesh and solving the control equations, Using computational fluid dynamics(CFD) commercial software-Ansys Fluent to complete the simulation. The theory of aerodynamic drag was obtained and the aerodynamic characteristics were analyzed, according to the map of the pressure and velocity Distribution and the simulation of vehicle flow field. To improve the aerodynamic characteristics of heavy commercial vehicles, reduce the aerodynamic resistance of moving process, so as to provide the theoretical basis of national standards to achieve reducing emissions and saving energy.
