Abstract :
In this paper, first results from a study on the employment of Frequency Selective Surfaces (FSSs) for beam steering transmitarray applications are presented. The basic idea of the proposed research, it to use FSS for controlling the transmission properties of an electromagnetic wave propagating through a FSS. As it will be shown, it will be possible to achieve full control of the transmission angle across the FSS surface without affecting the signal amplitude.
