Abstract :
This paper presents the innovative combination of the MIMO mode and the transceiver separation mode in small handsets, investigating several performance metrics in the presence of the human user. Simulation results show that by using narrow-band antennas the mutual coupling can be decreased significantly and the user´s influence can be reduced.
