Abstract :
Efficient algorithms for the generation of the Characteristics Basis Functions are presented in this communication, which are very useful when analyzing large geometries using a big block size. The first technique is based in applying the Planar Wave Spectrum in several steps, and a multilevel scheme of obtaining the high-level basis functions is also considered. They can be applied alone or in a combination of them.
