Abstract :
This work presents theoretical and experimental analysis of radio signals propagation in LOS and NLOS indoor propagation conditions. Specifically, propagation conditions in straight corridor and adjacent rooms are analysed. A statistical multi-parametric approach that was previously used in urban propagation conditions is adapted to the modelling of indoor communication channels. The model of the received signal distribution in the joint angle-of-arrival (AOA) and time-of-arrival (AOA) domains is derived. The accuracy of the proposed model was evaluated using measurements that were collected at the University of Massachusetts, Dartmouth. The model was shown to accurately predict the indoor signal distribution in the AOA-TOA domain.
