Abstract :
The paper demonstrates a possibility to use magnifying wire medium lenses in order to enhance antenna gain. The lenses generate at their output interface enlarged distributions of electromagnetic field from the distributions produced by an original antenna. The enlarged distributions of electric field form more directive far-field patterns with minimum side lobe levels.
