Abstract :
This paper discusses failures in arrays of reconfigurable antennas. Each array element is reconfigured via different electronic components such as switches, varactors, or other reconfiguration techniques. The possibility and origin of errors in such arrays is discussed and analysed. Overcoming such failures is based on the equivalence between various frequency dependent graphs that model the respective reconfigurable antenna arrays.
