Abstract
The paper describes the design of a C-type antenna intended for automotive internal glass installation and capable of operating worldwide in mobile telephone bands, without necessitating of any dedicated matching network. The antenna was developed under an R&D cooperation program between the ASK Industries Group and the Microwave and Antenna Laboratory (LAM) of the University of Florence. Numerical and experimental results are presented and discussed.
